Slice of Life in the Emerald City is an afternoon built to feel good. Players of every level, families, friends, and total first-timers share the same courts for three hours of easy, upbeat, genuinely fun tennis. Rallies stay casual, the music keeps rolling, the food is on us, and nobody’s keeping score. Just the Seattle tennis community in one place, playing the game we all love.

It’s also the best kind of networking, the low-pressure kind. Swap contacts between games, find a hitting partner who lives ten minutes away, meet the coaches, and connect with local clubs and sponsors. Come solo or bring a crew; either way you’ll leave with a bigger tennis circle, a few new friends, and a reason to be back on court next weekend.

$50 admission covers open play, clinic access, catering, and a player goodie bag. Not playing? A $35 spectator pass gets you the full festival, food, music, demos, and atmosphere, minus the court time. Both paid securely through Stripe.

Founder of JiaYou Tennis and Li Chaoping Tennis Academy. Chaoping has spent years growing tennis in the Seattle area through lessons, community events, and the Keep JiaYou-ing charity tournament. Slice of Life in the Emerald City is the social counterpart: a festival day for the players who keep showing up.

A well-known figure in Seattle’s recreational tennis scene, Kevin brings a large, loyal social following (~4,000) and the kind of on-court energy that turns strangers into hitting partners.

Presented in partnership with JiaYou Tennis, the local academy and community behind Keep JiaYou-ing, coaching, and year-round play in the Seattle area.
